It gives me great joy to announce the success of the Cedar Bands on Thursday at District VII Band Festival.
- 7th Grade Band: Division II Excellent Rating
- 8th Grade Band: Division II Excellent Rating
- Symphonic Band: Division II Excellent Rating
- Wind Ensemble: Division I Superior Rating
It was a great day for the Cedar Bands; the students showed up to perform in front of the judges and hometown audience! Thank you to all the students, executive board, and volunteers for making the Cedar Springs Festival Site run smoothly. It takes a team effort to operate these large events at a high level. Thank you!
This Friday is the 5th Grade Recruitment Concert. Please see the TWIB for details. Also, this Sunday is the Mattress Sale at CSHS, supporting our band. The link to the event is in the TWIB; please share it with friends and family, even if they’re in the market for pillows and sheets.
The grind continues. We’ll take some time to rest and debrief; then, it’s onto the next big adventure. Have a great week!
