8th Grade Band
The 8th Grade Band is an advanced ensemble and is a full-year class. Comprised of woodwinds, brass, and percussion, 8th Grade Band members perform a wide variety of music and styles. Participation in the 8th Grade Band will result in mandatory performances and rehearsals, including Holiday, Winter, and Spring concerts, and participation at the District 7 MSBOA Band Festival.
7th Grade Band
The 7th Grade Band is an intermediate ensemble and is a full-year class. Comprised of woodwinds, brass, and percussion, 7th Grade Band members perform a wide variety of music and styles. Participation in the 7th Grade Band will result in mandatory performances and rehearsals, including Holiday, Winter, and Spring concerts, and participation at the District 7 MSBOA Band Festival.
6th Grade Band
The 6th Grade Band is the beginning band program and a full-year course at Cedar Springs. Students will learn the basics of playing and performing music on an instrument. Participation in the 6th Grade Band will result in mandatory performances, including Holiday and Spring concerts.
