Congratulations to the cast and crew of Into the Woods! Many of the cast and crew are band students and it was exciting to watch enjoy another avenue of music.
Students performed on Saturday at MSBOA District 7 Solo and Ensemble at Oakridge High School and walked away with Superior and Excellent performances! Congratulations and great work! Middle School S/E will be coming up this Spring. We will be discussing this with the 7th and 8th Graders in class.
If things weren’t moving fast enough, the Disney departure day has made the TWIB!! We are just under two weeks out before departing for our Florida 2022 trip. Bus sign-ups, groups, and rooming lists will go out early this week. We will send out a blast when the webpage is updated.
7 rehearsals until Pre-Festival, 8 rehearsals until Disney Departure, and 14 rehearsals until Band Festival. Next year, the 7th Grade Band (this year’s 6th graders) will join the 8th Grade and High School Bands in the Band Festival Experience.
